ProgressM-49 up-to-the station letter.


The letter addressed to Russian cosmonaut Gennadiy Padalka (Expedition 9) was written in the USA and sent to Russia by registered mail.
Then it was delivered to the ISS by the ProgressM-49 unmanned supply spacecraft.
On board the ISS the letter was marked with
the “ISS” octagonal board seal,
the “Expedition 9” round board souvenir seal,
the “Russian Segment of International Space Station” board souvenir seal dated May 27,2004, the day when the Russian ProgressM-49 unmanned supply spacecraft docked with the ISS
