STS-117 up-to-the station letter.
  
 

 

The letter written by Igor Rodin and addressed to Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kotov was delivered to the ISS by the Atlantis American Space Shuttle (STS-117 mission).

First on Earth the letter was postmarked at the post office of Zvyozdny gorodok (Star town).

Aboard the station the letter was marked with the ISS octagonal board souvenir seal as well as with the ISS round board souvenir seal dated June 10, 2007, the day when Atlantis docked with the ISS and June 18, 2007, the day when the hatches between Atlantis and the ISS were closed for undocking. The letter was also marked with the “Expedition 15” oval board souvenir seal.
