Eurospace-2016. Prague.
From 12 till 17 April, 2016 the “Eurospace 2016" International Astrophilatelic Exhibition was held at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Prague. The event was devoted to the 55th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s space flight. The exhibition was organized by the Union of Philatelists of Czech Republic and the Russian Centre of Science and Culture. The exhibition received the FEPA recognition.

The honorable guests of the exhibition were cosmonaut-researcher Olřich Pelčák (Czechoslovakia), a member of the back-up crew of the Soviet “Soyuz-28” spacecraft as well as cosmonaut-researcher Michal Fulier (Slovakia), a member of the back-up crew of the Russian “Soyuz TM-29” spacecraft.

On the occasion of “Eurospace 2016", Soviet cosmonaut-veteran Vladimir Kovalyonok visited Prague’s Planetarium where he had a meeting with about 250 Czech school children.
An informal meeting of the delegates of the FIP Section for Astrophilately took place in the frames of "EuroSpace-2016". The delegates from 8 countries including 3 members of the Bureau (Chairman, Secretary and FEPA representative) took part in the Meeting. A lot of questions concerning the Section for Astrophilately, exhibiting activity, relations with the FIP Board were discussed. President of the Austrian Astrophilatelic society and President of Swiss Astrophilatelic society also took part in the Meeting.
