"GMUNDEN - 2015"
From August 27 till August 30, 2015 the "GMUNDEN 2015” Austrian National philatelic exhibition with international participation took place at Toscana-Congress Centre in Gmunden, Austria. The exhibition was conducted with the FEPA Recognition. The exhibition venue was situated in a picturesque park on the shore of Lake Traunsee.
С 27 по 30 августа в Австрии проходила международная филателистическая выставка «Gmunden 2015». Выставочная экспозиция была размещена в конгресс-центре «Тоскана», расположенном в живописном парке на полуострове озера Траун в городке Гмунден в австрийских Альпах.
In the frames of the exhibition the Asstrophilatelic Salon was organized to demonstrate 20 competitive exhibits from 7 countries in the Class of Astrophilately. The Organizers invited to the exhibition as the special guests Russian cosmonauts Roman Romanenko and Oleg Artemjev. Before the exhibition the cultural program for the cosmonauts and the Jury members for Astrophilately included the visiting of Salzburg.
В рамках выставки, официально признанной ФЕПА, проходил Астрофилателистический салон, на котором в конкурсном классе демонстрировалось 20 астрофилателистических экспонатов из 7 стран. По этому случаю Оргкомитет выставки пригласил двух российских космонавта - Романа Романенко и Олега Артемьева. До начала выставки культурная программа, подготовленная организаторами для космонавтов и членов жюри, включала посещение Зальцбурга.
The official hotel for the cosmonauts and the Astro Jury in Salzburg was Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron. Built in 1736, and surrounded by 17 acres of manicured grounds, Schloss Leopoldskron is nestled by a small, idyllic lake, and features majestic views of the mountains and the Hohensalzburg Fortress.

On the way from Salzburg to Gmunden. Wolfgangsee is one of the best known lakes in the Salzkammergut resort region.
The exhibition’s official Hotel was Landgasthof Hocheck hotel consisted of 2 beautiful buildings and situated in Altmünster, a town located on the west shore of the Traunsee not far from the exhibition venue.

The Russian cosmonauts viewed the Astrophilatelic exhibits with great interest.
The Austrian Post prepared for the exhibition 20 different post marks, including the postmark devoted to the exhibition’s Space-Salon and pictured the “Cupola” observatory module of the International Space Station.
The cover was autographed by Russian cosmonauts Roman Romanenko and Oleg Artemjev.
In the frames of the exhibition an informal joint meeting of the FIP Section for Astrophilately and FISA took place at the Landhotel Grunberg am See. Total 16 participants presented at the Meeting, including 7 delegates and 3 Bureau members of the FIP Section for Astrophilately.
The Russian cosmonauts took part in different social activities in the frames of the exhibition including the autograph and photo sessions.

The German private post “BIBER POST” issued postage stamps devoted to the visiting of the Russian cosmonauts to "GMUNDEN 2015”.
There were 500 philatelic frames and many dealers at "GMUNDEN 2015”.

The exhibitors of Astrophilaely Class were awarded by the Astro Jury Group Leader, Jaromir Matejka and the Russian Cosmonauts.
Chairman of the FIP Section for Astrophilately Igor Rodin (right) received a Diploma for serving as a Jury member for Astrophilately Class.
