MonacoPhil 2015

From 3rd to 5th December 2015 the Club de Monte-Carlo and the OETP (the Monegasque Office for Stamp Issues) organized the MonacoPhil 2015 International Philatelic exhibition. The event was under the High Patronage of H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco.

Specially for MonacoPhil 2015, the OETP issued the limited edition, numbered and not perforated sheet, representing TT.SS.HH the Prince and the Princess of Monaco.

The visitors could see 100 worldwide rarities from world famous collections belonging to His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, national postal museums, members of the Club de Monte-Carlo.

On the 3rd of December H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco visited the Exhibition.

Igor Rodin with his exhibit “From Poles to Space Station” was invited to take part in Polar Philately exposition at “MonacoPhil 2015”.

 

The exhibition venue, where the Polar Philately was exhibited, had been specially decorated in Arctic and Antarctic style.

 

The Empire Room of Hôtel de Paris, where Gala Dinner took place, had been specially decorated in Arctic and Antarctic style.

Palmarès of the Polar Exhibition and Reception took place at Oceanographic Museum. The Reception was sponsored by the BPMA (British Postal Museum and Archives).

Patrick Maselis is being awarded with a special prize for his exhibit.

 

The AEP Past President Hendrik Slabbinck is awarding the winners with Grand Prix (a polar bear and a penguin made of Murano glass).
