"PHILESPACE 2015"
From 26 to 30 November 2015 the "PHILESPACE 2015” philatelic exhibition took place in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles, France. The exhibition was devoted to the 50th anniversary of the orbiting of Astérix, the first French satellite. It was orbited by the “Diamant A” rocket from Hammaguir, Algeria on 26 November 1965.
The exhibition was jointly organized by Astrophil, club from Herakles, the solid rocket company, and "La Marianne", club from the local Airbus branch.
