SRBIJAFILA XV
From April 25 till April 30, 2012 the "SRBIJAFILA XV” National philatelic exhibition with international participation took place in Belgrade, Serbia. The exhibition was organized by the Union of Philatelists of Serbia and the Serbian Post.
This philatelic event was timed to the Annual PostEurop Plenary Assembly which was organized by Association of European Public Postal Operators – PostEurop in cooperation with Public Enterprise of PTT Communications „Srbija" in Belgrade on 25 and 26 of April 2012. PostEurop is the association which represents the interest of European public postal operators. PostEurop is also an officially recognized Restricted Union of the Universal Postal Union (UPU).
The "SRBIJAFILA XV” exhibition took place in the Cvijeta Zucoric pavilion situated in the beautiful Kalemegdan Park located on a 125-metre-high (410 ft) cliff, at the junction of the River Sava and Danube, right in the historic centre of Belgrade, nearby to the Kalemegdan Fortress.
The exhibition was opened by Mr.Goran Čirič, General Director of Public Enterprise of PTT Communications „Srbija" (Serbian Post).
At the Opening Ceremony exhibitors and guests was welcomed by Mr. Đorđe Radičević, President of the Union of Philatelists of Serbia; Mr. Predrag Marković, Minister of Culture and Information of Serbia; Mr. Jørgen Jørgenson, FEPA President and other officials.
Mr. Edouard Dayan, Director General of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Bureau and other participants of the PostEurop Assembly took part in the Opening Ceremony (in the centre of the upper photo).
Exhibits from 11 countries were displayed in about 400 exhibition stands (frames).
During the Opening Ceremony Mr. Jørgen Jørgenson, FEPA President; Mr. Patrick Maselis, President of the Club de Monte-Carlo and Bojan Bracic, FEPA Secretary General were awarded by the Union of Philatelists of Serbia with the medals for the development of philately.
Seminar on Astrophilately.
In the frames of the exhibition on April 26 Chairman of the FIP Section for Astrophilately, Igor Rodin conducted Seminar (Lecture) on Astrophilately. About 20 participants from several countries took part in the Seminar. They listened to report about Astrophilately with power point presentation by Igor Rodin and saw the "Space Mail" video film made by Sergey Rodin.
To thank Igor Rodin for conducting the Seminar on Astrophilately, President of the Slovenian Philatelic Association, Igor Pirc and FEPA Secretary General Bojan Bracic (Slovenia) presented Igor Rodin the souvenir book about the first Slovenian postal stamps.

Igor Rodin’s Astrophilatelic exhibit "Space Mail from Salyuts to Mir” was at the show in the invited class.
Sergey Rodin’s Astrophilately exhibit "The International Space Station” was awarded with Large Vermeil in Youth class and a special prize.
