2011 – Space Launch Results.

84 rocket-carries were launched in 2011. 77 launches were successful. 3 launches were partly-successful. There were 4 fail launches.

Russia performed 32 launches, 5 of them were partly-successful or failed.

China performed 19 launches including 1 failed launch.

USA performed 18 launches including 1 failed launch.

Arianespace performed 7 launches including 2 launches of the Russian "Soyuz” rockets.

India performed 3 launches.

A new book about Space Mail.

Soviet cosmonaut-veteran Viktor Savinykh wrote a book titled "My Space Mail”. The author tells about the Space Mail items from his own collection. The 70-page book has more than 80 illustrations of space mail items.

At the end of December 2011 Chairman of the FIP Section for Astrophilately, Igor Rodin had a meeting with Viktor Savinykh and got a copy of the book as a present from the author.

Cosmonaut Viktor Savinykh is signing the book and several covers for Igor Rodin.
