New Russian special board post mark.

The Russian Federal Communications Agency issued a special post mark devoted to Sergey Korolev for using it on board the International Space Station. On 12 January 2017 there was the 110th anniversary of the birth of Sergey Korolev.

Russian “Progress MS-07” spacecraft docked to Space Station.

On October 16, 2017 at 11:04 UTC the Russian “Progress MS-07” unmanned supply spacecraft docked to the International Space Station. The spacecraft was docked to the Russian “Pirs” module. The spacecraft delivered about 2500 kilograms of cargo for the ISS crew.

US launched a military satellite.

On October 15, 2017 at 07:28 UTC the “Atlas-5” rocket-carrier was launched from Cape Canaveral launch site of US Air Force. The launch was performed by United Launch Alliance supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force. The rocket orbited the NROL-52 classified satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office. The NROL (National Reconnaissance Office Launch) abbreviation is used to identify classified satellites operated by the United States National Reconnaissance Office.

On October 14, 2017 at 08:46 UTC the “Progress MS-07” unmanned supply spacecraft was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome to the International Space Station. The spacecraft was orbited by the “Soyuz-2.1A” rocket-carrier.

Russia orbited European environmental satellite.

On October 13, 2017 at 09:28 UTC the “Rockot” rocket-carrier was launched from Plesetsk Cosmodrome, Arkhangelsk region, North Russia. The launch was performed by Russian Aerospace Defence Forces. The rocket orbited the “Sentinel-5P” European environmental satellite. The satellite will collect daily air quality measurements over every major city on Earth.
