US launched military communication satellite.

On April 14, 2018 at 22:13 UTC the “Atlas-5” rocket-carrier was launched from Cape Canaveral launch site of US Air Force. The launch was performed by United Launch Alliance supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force. The rocket orbited CBAS (Continuous Broadcast Augmenting SATCOM) military communication satellite and EAGLE (ESPA Augmented GEO Laboratory Experiment) satellite. The US Air Force says EAGLE will a pathfinder for future missions, demonstrating a maneuverable satellite design that could help the military launch new capabilities at less cost.

India launched navigation satellite.

On April 11, 2018 at 22:34 UTC the Indian “PSLV-XL” (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) rocket-carrier was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center on Sriharikota Island, India's primary launch site on the country's east coast. The rocket orbited the “IRNSS-1I” navigation satellite.

China launched 3 military satellite.

On April 10, 2018 at 04:25 UTC, the “Long March – 4C” (“Changzheng-4C”) rocket-carrier was launched from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, the northwest of China. The rocket orbited 3 “Yaogan-31” military surveillance satellites and an experimental nanosatellite. The trio of the “Yaogan-31” space vehicles are believed by Western analysts to be maritime reconnaissance satellites, helping Chinese military authorities track foreign naval movements. A nanosatellite will conduct unspecified technological experiments in space.

On April 6, 2018 at 21:34 UTC the Ariane 5” rocket-carrier was launched from Kourou Cosmodrome in French Guiana. The rocket orbited 2 communication satellites: the British "HYLAS-4” European communication satellite and Japanese " DSN-1/Superbird-8” communication satellite.
