"Cygnus” (CRS NG-10) mission completed.

On February 25, 2019 the US "Cygnus” (CRS NG-10 “S.S. John Young”) unmanned supply spacecraft was deorbited. Non-burnt fragments of the spacecraft drowned in the remote area of the Pacific at 09:05 UTC.

Japanese probe landed on asteroid.

On February 22, 2019 at 22:29 UTC, the Japanese “Hayabusa-2” probe contacted the surface of Ryugu asteroid. The spacecraft briefly landed on the asteroid more than 350 million kilometers from Earth to take a rocky sample. The probe spent on Ryugu surface for just a few moments before firing thrusters to climb away from the asteroid. It was a touch-and-go landing. The “Hayabusa-2” is to return back to Earth in December 2020.

Russia launched Egyptian satellite from Baykonur.

On February 21, 2019 at 16:47 UTC the "Soyuz-2” rocket-carrier was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome. The rocket equipped with the "Fregat” upper-stage orbited the “Egyptsat-A” observation satellite. It is a remote sensing satellite built by Russian RSC “Energia” aerospace manufacturer to provide the Egyptian military and other government agencies with high-resolution surveillance imagery.

Falcon launched with Israeli moon lander and Indonesian comsat.

On February 21, 2019 at 01:45 UTC the "Falcon-9” rocket-carrier was launched Cape Canaveral launch site of US Air Force. The launch was performed by the "SpaceX” private company supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force. The rocket orbited Indonesia’s “Nusantara Satu” communications satellite; the “Beresheet” lunar lander for SpaceIL (an Israeli organization); the S5 experimental small satellite for the Air Force Research Laboratory.

Cygnus deployed 3 nanosatellites.

On February 13, 2019 the US "Cygnus” (CRS NG-10 “S.S. John Young”) unmanned supply spacecraft deployed 3 nanosatellites: MySat-1 of UAE; CHEFSAT (Cost-effective High E-Frequency Satellite) and Kicksat-2 of USA.
