Russia launched “Progress MS-22” spacecraft to Space Station.

On February 9, 2023 at 09:15 Moscow time, the “Progress MS-22” unmanned supply spacecraft was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome to the International Space Station. The spacecraft was orbited by the “Soyuz-2.1a” rocket-carrier.

Chinese cosmonauts performed spacewalk.

On February 9, 2023 Chinese cosmonauts Fei Junlong and Zhang Lu performed the spacewalk to install the first additional pump block of the thermal control system and attaching the first external platform to the “Mengtian” module of the “Tiangong” station. The EVA lasted 7 hours and 06 minutes. It was the 1st spacewalk for both Fei Junlong and Zhang Lu.

“Progress MS-20” undocked from Space Station.

On February 7, 2023 at 07:56 Moscow time the Russian “Progress MS-20” unmanned supply spacecraft was undocked from the “Zvezda” module of the International Space Station. In about 4 hours it was deorbited. Non-burnt fragments of the spacecraft drowned in the remote area of the Pacific.

US and Japanese astronauts performed spacewalk.

On February 2, 2023, US astronaut Nicole Mann and Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata performed the spacewalk to finish installing a mounting bracket for new solar arrays due to arrive at the complex on a SpaceX resupply mission in June. The EVA lasted 6 hours and 41 minutes. It was the 2nd spacewalk for both Nicole Mann and Koichi Wakata.
