US launched spy satellite.

On November 13, 2020 at 22:32 UTC the “Atlas-5/531” rocket-carrier was launched from Cape Canaveral launch site of US Air Force. The launch was performed by United Launch Alliance supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force. The rocket orbited a top-secret payload for the U.S. government’s spy satellite agency. The launch is known as NROL-101 mission.

China launches mobile telecom satellite.

On November 12, 2020 at 15:59 UTC the "Chang Zheng-3B” (Long March-3B) rocket-carrier was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Xichang, southwest China's Sichuan Province. The rocket orbited “Tiantong 1-02” mobile telecom satellite.

India orbited 10 satellites in first launch since start of pandemic

On November 7, 2020 at 09:42 UTC, the PSLV-DL rocket-carrier was launched from Satish Dhawan (Sriharikota) spaceport, 80 km from Chennai, India. The rocket (PSLV - Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) orbited 9 satellites (India’s EOS-01 radar imaging satellite and nine small satellites for customers based in the United States, Luxembourg, and Lithuania).

The successful debut launch of new Chinese rocket.

On November 7, 2020, at 07:12 the “Ceres-1” rocket was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, the northwest of China. The rocket orbited the “Tianqi-11” data relay microsatellite. The “Ceres-1” is a new four-stage rocket operated by the Chinese launch company “Galactic Energy”. Galactic Energy, headquartered in Beijing, is one of several Chinese startups seeking a foothold in the launch business. The four-stage launcher was “independently designed” by Galactic Energy, and is aimed at providing “high-quality, cheap, and fast launch services for low-orbit small satellites,” according to the company’s website.

China launched Earth-imaging satellites.

On November 6, 2020 at 03:19 UTC the “Long March – 6” (“Changzheng-6”) rocket-carrier was launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province. The rocket orbited ten Argentine small high-resolution observation satellites and 3 Chinese satellites (Taiyuan (Bayi-03), Tianyi-05 and Beihangxingsat-1).

On November 5, 2020 at 23:24 UTC the "Falcon 9” rocket-carrier was launched from SLC-40 of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA. The launch was performed by SpaceX company supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force. The rocket orbited GPS III SV04 navigation satellite.

Rocket Lab orbited 10 satellites.

On October 28, 2020 at 21:21 UTC, the “Electron” rocket-carrier was launched from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1, a commercial spaceport located close to Ahuriri Point at the southern tip of Mahia Peninsula, on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island. It is owned and operated by private spaceflight company Rocket Lab. The rocket orbited 9 SuperDove-type satellites and CE-SAT-2B satellite for Canon Electronics.

China launched three military spy satellites.

On October 26, 2020 at 15:19 UTC the "Chang Zheng-3B” (Long March-2C) rocket-carrier was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Xichang, southwest China's Sichuan Province. The rocket orbited 4 satellites: three “Yaogan-30-07” satellites and the “Tianqi-6” small satellite.  The Chinese government uses the Yaogan name for the country’s military satellites, and the Yaogan-30 family is believed to be designed for an intelligence mission.

Russia launched navigation satellite.

On October 25, 2020 at 19:08 UTC the “Soyuz-2.1B” rocket-carrier was launched from Plesetsk Cosmodrome, Arkhangelsk region, North Russia. The rocket equipped with the “Fregat” booster orbited the Russian “Glonass-K1” navigation satellite.
