The launch was performed by the "SpaceX” private company supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force. The spacecraft delivered from the ISS to Earth US astronaut Peggy Whitson; US commercial astronaut John Shoffner; Saudi Arabian astronaut Ali AlQarni (علي القرني); Saudi Arabian woman-astronaut Rayyanah Barnawi (ريانة برناوي).
