The launch was performed by the "SpaceX” private company supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force. The rocket orbited the “JCSAT-18/Kacific-1” telecommunication satellite.

On December 11, 2019 at 08:54 UTC the “Soyuz-2.1b” rocket-carrier was launched from Plesetsk Cosmodrome, Arkhangelsk region, North Russia. The launch was performed by Russian Aerospace Defence Forces. The rocket equipped with the “Fregat” booster (upper stage) orbited the “Glonass-M” navigation satellite. The Russian GLONASS Global Navigation Satellite System – operated by the Russian Aerospace Defence Forces – is currently the only global alternative to the American GPS fleet in operation that has global coverage of comparable precision.

On December 9, 2019 at 10:35 UTC the Russian “Progress MS-13” unmanned supply spacecraft docked to the International Space Station. The spacecraft was docked to the Russian “Pirs” module. The spacecraft delivered about 2500 kilograms of cargo for the six-member ISS crew.

On December 8, 2019 at 12:47 UTC, the private U.S. unmanned supply spacecraft, the "Dragon” SpX-19 (CRS-19 flight), was successfully docked to the International Space Station. The linkup operation was carried out with the help of the giant 17-meter Canadarm. The capture with Canadarm-2 was performed by Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano at 10:05 UTC. The Dragon spacecraft was maneuvered into position and attached to a berthing port on the space station's Harmony module. This docking marked the 19^th time a Dragon spaceship has reached the space station, counting a demonstration flight in 2012. The Dragon spacecraft delivered 2617 kilograms of supplies, equipment and research investigations for the station’s crew.

On December 7, 2019, at 08:52 UTC, the “Kuaizhou-1A” (“Speedy vessel”) rocket-carrier was launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province. The rocket orbited 6 small satellites. Two solid-fueled “Kuaizhou-1A” rockets were launched from the same Launch Center, demonstrating a further advance in China’s aim for a quick-response, on-call satellite launch capability.

On December 6, 2019 the US "Cygnus” CRS-11 (NG-11 “S.S. Roger Chaffee”) unmanned supply spacecraft was deorbited. Non-burnt fragments of the spacecraft drowned in the remote area of the Pacific at 16:55 UTC.
