Russia launched Soyuz TMA-10M manned spacecraft.
On September 25, 2013 at 20:58 UTC (on September 26 at 00:58 Moscow time) the Russian "Soyuz TMA-10M” spacecraft was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome. The space vehicle was orbited by the Russian "Soyuz-FG” rocket-carrier.
The spacecraft is piloted by 3 cosmonauts: Commander, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kotov (center); flight-engineer, Russian cosmonaut Sergey Ryazanskiy (right); American astronaut Michael Hopkins (left).

Private US Cygnus spacecraft delayed rendezvous with ISS.
On September 22, 2013 the US "Cygnus” unmanned supply spacecraft was to be docked with the International Space Station. But the rendezvous of the Cygnus cargo ship with the International Space Station (ISS) was delayed due to a computer data link glitch between them. The spacecraft was originally expected to be captured by a robotic arm operated by astronauts inside the space station. At around 05:30 UTC, the Cygnus established direct data contact with the ISS and found that some of the data received had values that it did not expect, causing Cygnus to reject the data. This mandated an interruption of the approach sequence.

New private spacecraft was launched to ISS on demo mission.
On September 18 at 10:58 UTC a new privately owned U.S. unmanned spacecraft was launched from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport at Wallops Island off the U.S. east coast., Va., USA. The "Cygnus” unmanned supply spacecraft, built by U.S. space firm Orbital Sciences Corp., was orbited by the company's "Аntares” rocket-carrier on a demonstration mission to the International Space Station (ISS).
It is the first flight of the "Cygnus”, which carries about 590 kg of various supplies, and the second flight of the "Antares” rocket, which made a successful debut in April.
The goal of the mission is to demonstrate the capability of Orbital's cargo transportation system to deliver cargo to the space station.

The spacecraft delivered to Earth the 3 members of ISS’s Expedition 36 – Russian cosmonauts Pavel Vinogradov (center) and Alexander Misurkin (right) as well as American astronaut Christopher Cassidy (left).
They spent in space 166 days, 06 hours, 15 minutes.
Three other ISS crew members – Russian cosmonaut Fjodor Yurchikhin, Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano and American astronaut Karen Nyberg - remained in orbit aboard the International Space Station as the Expedition 37 crew.

Japanese HTV-4 cargo ends its flight.
On September 07, 2013 the Japanese HTV "Kounotori-4” unmanned supply spacecraft was deorbited. Following its departure from the International Space Station on September 04, the HTV-4 spent two and a half days in free flight, performing a number of altitude reduction maneuvers to set up for re-entry. This burn began at 6:11 UTC and slowed HTV down just enough to enable it to intercept Earth’s atmosphere at a pre-planned location above the Pacific.

Japanese cargo spacecraft departed the Space Station.
On September 04, 2013 the Japanese "HTV Kounotori-4” unmanned supply spacecraft departed the International Space Station. At 12:09 UTC by using the space station's robotic arm Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano and US astronaut Karen Nyberg removed the HTV-4 cargo vehicle from its port on the Harmony module. At about 16:20 the spacecraft was released. It will be deorbited on September 07, 2013.

Russian cosmonauts performed a spacewalk.
On August 22, 2013 Russian cosmonauts Fjodor Yurchikhin and Alexander Misurkin performed a spacewalk. The spacewalk began at 11:34 UTC when the cosmonauts opened the hatch of the Russian "Pirs” module of the International Space Station. The spacewalk lasted 5 hours and 58 minutes. It was the 41st spacewalk performed from the Russian segment of the International Space Station.

American astronaut Charles Fullerton passed away.
Former shuttle commander Charles Gordon Fullerton, veteran of two space flights who also flew NASA's B-52 launch aircraft and was one of only two non-Russians to fly the Tu-144 supersonic aircraft during a legendary 50-year career, died on August 21, 2013. He was 76.
A NASA news release said the astronaut suffered a "severe stroke" in late 2009, spending the past three-and-a-half years in a long-term care facility in Lancaster, California, USA.

2 cosmonauts set new Russian spacewalk endurance record.
On August 16 Russian cosmonauts Fjodor Yurchikhin and Alexander Misurkin performed a spacewalk.
The spacewalk began at 14:36 UTC when the cosmonauts opened the hatch of the Russian "Pirs” module of the International Space Station. The cosmonauts extended a telescoping space crane to help move large cable reels from "Pirs” to "Zarya”. The cosmonauts unreeled and routed two long power lines and an ethernet cable along the outside of the Russian "Zarya” module that will be connected to the new Russian "Nauka” module after its arrival next year. Misurkin also mounted a space exposure experiment pallet on a handrail outside the Russian ”Poisk” module.
The spacewalk lasted 7 hours and 28 minutes. The hatch of the Russian "Pirs” module was closed at 22:05 UTC.
The seven-hour 29-minute duration set a new Russian spacewalk record, eclipsing the old mark of seven hours ... Read more »
