Japan launched a spacecraft to the ISS.
On January 22, 2011 at 05:37 UTC Japan successfully launched the H-2B rocket-carrier from Launch Pad No. 2 at the Tanegashima Space Center, an island base at the southern tip of Japan.
The rocket orbited HTV-2 unmanned supply spacecraft. Japan is calling the spacecraft Kounotori, which means white stork.

The spacecraft is to deliver about 5300 kilograms of supplies to stock the International Space Station with scientific gear, spare parts and provisions for the lab's six-person crew. The HTV-2 is to approach the ISS on January 27. Ast ... Read more »

Russian cosmonauts completed spacewalk ahead of schedule.
On January 21, 2011 Russian cosmonauts Dmitry Kondratyev and Oleg Skripochka performed the first spacewalk in this year.
The cosmonauts spent in space 5 hours and 22 minutes instead of 6 hours in according to the plan. The space walkers successfully completed all tasks required of them during their spacewalk ahead of schedule.

Soyuz TMA-20 docked with the ISS.
On December 17, 2010 at 20:12 UTC the "Soyuz TMA-20” spacecraft docked with the ISS.
The Soyuz TMA-20 carrying Russian cosmonaut Dmitriy Kondratjev, European Space Agency astronaut Paolo Nespoli (Italy) and NASA astronaut Catherine Coleman (USA) successfully docked in automatic mode to the MRM-1 ("Rassvet”) module.
Aboard the station the Soyuz TMA-20 crew was welcomed by their colleagues Alexander Kaleri, Oleg Skripochka and Scott Kelly who had been working aboard the ISS since October 2010.

Soyuz TMA-20 launch.
On December 15, 2010 at 19:09 UTC the "Soyuz FG” rocket-carrier was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome. The rocket-carrier orbited the "Soyuz TMA-20” spacecraft with the crew – commander Dmitriy KONDRATJEV (Russia); flight-engineer Catherine COLEMAN (USA); flight-engineer Paolo NESPOLI (Italy).

Soyuz TMA-19 landed.
On November 26, 2010 at 04:46 UTC the Soyuz TMA-19 landing capsule with the crew – Commander, Russian cosmonaut Fjodor Yurchikhin, American astronauts Shannon Walker and Douglas Wheelock - landed successfully to the North from the town of Arkalyk, Kazakhstan.

Soyuz TMA-19 undocked from the ISS.
On November 26, 2010 at 01:23 UTC the Russian"Soyuz TMA-19" spacecraft undocked from the "Zvezda” module of the International Space Station.
The space crew of commander Russian cosmonaut Fjodor Yurchikhin and NASA astronauts Shannon Walker and Douglas Wheelock were aboard the spacecraft to return to Earth.

ISS – 10 years in piloted regime.
10 years ago on October 31, 2000 the Soyuz TM-31 spacecraft with Expedition 1 crew on board was launched to the International Space Station.

Progress M-08M docked with ISS.
On October 30, 2010 at 16:35 UTC the Progress M-08M unmanned supply spacecraft docked with the ISS. The space vehicle is attached to the "Pirs” module now.

At first the rendezvous sequence was performed in automatic regime. Then, in according to the decision of Mission Control Center, the rendezvous sequence was switched to manual mode at the distance of 194 meters from the station. Controlled by Russian cosmonaut Alexander Kaleri, the vehicle docked to the station smoothly.

Soyuz TMA-M docked to the ISS.
On October 10, 2010 at 00:01 UTC the Soyuz TMA-M spacecraft successfully docked to the International Space Station.
The space vehicle docked to the "Poisk” module. The rendezvous and docking was performed in automatic mode.

Soyuz TMA-M launch.
On October 08, 2010 at 03:10 Moscow time (October 07 at 23:10 UTC) the upgraded Soyuz TMA-M spacecraft with the crew - commander Alexander Kaleri (Russia), Oleg Skripochka (Russia) and Scott Kelly (USA) was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome.

The Soyuz is to dock with the International Space Station on October 10. The Soyuz TMA-M crew will join the ISS crew of Expedition 25, D. Wheelock, F.Yurchikhin and S.Walker.
The Soyuz TMA-M spacecraft features a variety of avionics and computer upgrades that are being flown for the first time. The software used to control the spacecraft was tested in unmanned Progress supply ships.
