On October 30, 2009 H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV-1) Japanese unmanned supply spacecraft left the ISS. American astronaut Nicole Stott separated off the HTV-1 from the station by using Canadarm-2 robotic arm.
On October 18, 2009 at the Russian Progress M-03M unmanned supply spacecraft docked with the ISS. The spacecraft delivered more than 2400 kg of cargo to the station, including propellant, oxygen, food, scientific equipment, crew parcels.
The Russian postal stationery is devoted to the 80th birthday anniversary of Russian cosmonaut A.Nikolaev (Vostok-3, Soyuz-9). The cover was postmarked in Zvyozdny gorodok (Star town) on September 05, A.Nikolaev’s birthday. A.Nikolaev lived there more than 40 years as well as he trained for his space flights there too.
