China launched 2 satellites.

On November 9, 2011 at 03:21 UTC the "Chang Zheng-4B” (Long March 4B) rocket-carrier was launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Taiyuan, capital of north China's Shanxi Province. The rocket orbited the "Yaogan XII” remote-sensing satellite and the "Tianxun I” satellite.
The "Yaogan XII” satellite will be used to conduct scientific experiments, carry out surveys on land resources, estimate crop yield and help with natural disaster-reduction and prevention.
The "Tianxun I” satellite will be used to carry out technological verification tests.
