On May 31, 2020, at 08:53 the “Long March –2D” (“Changzheng-2D”) rocket-carrier was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, the northwest of China. The rocket orbited the “Gaofen-9” (02) remote sensing satellite and the HEAD-4 satellite. The first one will be used in land surveys, urban planning, road network design and crop yield estimates, as well as disaster relief. The HEAD 4 satellite will provide the tracking of ships and aircraft, environmental monitoring and asset supervision services.
