On December 19, 2011 at 16:41 UTC the Chang Zheng-3B/E (Long March) rocket-carrier was launched from the Xichang space center in Sichuan province of southwest China. The rocket orbited the "Nigcomsat-1” powerful Chinese-built, Nigerian-owned communications satellite to serve Africans with television, education, navigation and security services.
