Japan launched the world’s smallest rocket-carrier.

On February 3, 2018 at 05:03 UTC the “SS-520-5” rocket-carrier was launched from the Uchinoura Space Center situated close to the Japanese town of Kimotsuki, in Kagoshima Prefecture. The rocket orbited the Japanese "Tasuki" (TRICOM-1R) communication satellite weighing in at about 3 kilograms. the “SS-520-5” rocket-carrier became the world’s smallest satellite launcher weighing in at about 2600 kilograms before start.
