Japan orbited a radar spy satellite.

On February 01, 2015 at 01:21 UTC the H-2A rocket-carrier was launched from Tanegashima Space Center in the southwestern Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. The rocket orbited the IGS (Information Gathering Satellite) radar spy satellite. The IGS program consists of optical and radar imaging spacecraft. The satellites are constructed by Mitsubishi Electric and launched by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries using the H-I2A rocket.
