Russia launched Soyuz TMA-07M manned spacecraft.
13:25
On December 19, 2012 at 12:12 UTC the Russian "Soyuz TMA-07M” spacecraft was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome. The space vehicle was orbited by the Russian "Soyuz-FG” rocket-carrier.
The spacecraft is piloted by 3 cosmonauts: Commander, Russian cosmonaut Roman Romanenko (center); flight-engineer-1, Canadian astronaut Christopher Hadfield (right); flight-engineer-2, American astronaut Thomas Marshburn (left).
The space vehicle is to dock with the International Space Station on December 21, 2012. The crew will reach the ISS in a traditional 'long' trip, which will take two days, though a short trip is also possible.
