Russia launched Soyuz TMA-18M manned spacecraft.

On September 02, 2015 at 04:37 UTC the Russian “Soyuz TMA-18M” spacecraft was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome. The space vehicle was orbited by the Russian “Soyuz-FG” rocket-carrier. The spacecraft is piloted by 3 cosmonauts: Commander, Russian cosmonaut Sergey Volkov (center); flight-engineer-1, Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen (right); flight-engineer-2, Kazakhstan cosmonaut Aidyn Aimbetov (left).

The space vehicle is to dock with the International Space Station on September 4. Volkov, Mogensen and Aimbetov will join current ISS expedition members Padalka, Kornienko, Kelly, Kononenko, Kimiya Yui and Lindgren.

This launch marked the beginning of the 300th flight of the manned spacecraft in the History.
