Russian rocket orbited 4 satellites.
23:22
On July 28, 2012 at 01:35 UTC the Russian "Rokot” rocket-carrier equipped with the "Briz-KM” booster was launched from Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northern Russia.
The rocket orbited a Russian military satellite of "Kosmos” series, two Gonets-M telecoms satellites and the "MiR” (Yubileiny-2) scientific microsatellite.
The 107-ton light Rokot launcher is a derivative of the Russian RS-18 (SS-19 Stiletto) intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). It contains two original lower stages of the ICBM and an upper stage for commercial payloads.
