The letter written by cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko aboard the ISS was delivered to Earth by the “Discovery” American Space Shuttle (STS-120 flight). Aboard the station the letter was marked with the ISS octagonal board souvenir seal as well as with the ISS round board souvenir seal dated November 04, 2007, the day when the hatches between Discovery and the ISS were closed for undocking. The letter was also marked with the “Expedition 16” round board souvenir seal.
