A Summary Guide for Astrophilately written by Beatrice Bachman.
This summary guide gives a useful overview of the ways the various elements of Astrophilately could be used to create an exhibit. The original seminar paper was produced by Beatrice Bachmann in 2002 and refined to its current version.
In I985 Mrs. Beatrice Bachman became elected at the Congress in Rome of the International Federation of Philately, FIP, as Chairman of the Section for Astrophilately.
1995 she was elected to the Aerophilatelic Hall of Fame approved by the Board of the American Air Mail Society (for the first time for Astrophilately).
After 15 years in office as Chairman of the FIP Section for Astrophilately she stepped down at ESPANA’2000 in Madrid.
At the FIP Congress at ESPANA’2000 in Madrid she was honoured with the FIP Medal for Service, "the most prestigious recognition awarded by the FIP for exceptional continuing, long-term service to organised philately at the international level”.
