On May 31, in the frames of the exhibition, the General Meeting of the A.I.E.P. (International Association of Philatelic Experts) was held.

At the General Meeting Mr. Alberto Bolaffi was awarded with the Hunziker Medal the highest award of the A.I.E.P.

Several Astrophilatelic events were organized during the exhibition.
The Delegates’ Meeting of the FIP Section for Astrophilately was conducted by Chairman Igor Rodin. The greetings to the delegates from the former Section’s Leader Beatrice Bachmann were conveyed by Igor Rodin. The question about the FIP Board motions regarded to Astrophilately was discussed by the delegates. Igor Rodin conducted an Astrophilatelic lecture with power point presentation “Gems of Soviet/Russian Space Mail”.
David Ball, US Delegate to the FIP Section for Astrophilately, organized the presentation of the literature on Astrophilately.
Ray Cartier told about several issues on Astrophilately including David Ball’s book “American Astrophilately: the First 50 years.”
Igor Rodin talked about his book “The First Mail of the International Space Station.”
Walter Hopferwieser presented his catalogue on Rocket and Space Mail.
Igor Rodin, as the Jury Secretary of the “Rossica-2016” international philatelic exhibition, handed over the Vermeil award to Walter Hopferwieser for his catalogue on Rocket and Space Mail.
On June 3, the “Space Unit” American Astrophilatelic society organized different activities.
David Ball conducted a power point presentation about American Astrophilatelic material.
Igor Rodin presented a video about Russian Space Mail to general public..

Siegel Auction Galleries and Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome presented World Stamp Show-NY visitors with the opportunity to see the original 1918 Curtiss JN-4H “Jenny” and the 24 cent Inverted Jenny stamp together, for the first time.
148 Years of the Royal Philatelic Society London, Meeting and Display.
The display was organized on the initiative of Mr. Jon Aitchison FRPSL.
The display comprised one philatelic item for every year of the Society's existence. 2013 was filled with an Astrophilatelic item from Igor Rodin’s collection.
The Stanly Gibbons invited the participants of Royal’s Meeting and Display to afternoon tea.

The last but not the least event of NY 2016 numerous activities was Club de Monte-Carlo dinner.
