PhilaKorea 2014

The "PHILAKOREA 2014” World Stamp Exhibition was held in Seoul since 7 till 12 August 2014.

The event took place at COEX (CONVENTION and EXHIBITION CENTER).

 

FIP Section for Astrophilately - Delegate Conference and Lecture.

 

On August 11, 2014, Delegate Conference of the FIP Section for Astrophilately and the Lecture on Astrophilately were held in the frames of the Exhibition.
The Conference was held under supervision of Mr. Fernando Aranaz del Rio, FIP Vice-president, responsible for the FIP Section for Astrophilately.

Chairman, Igor Rodin opened the Delegate Conference at 08:30 after verification of proxies and registration of presents. He welcomed delegates and guests. Chairman warmly welcomed Mr. Fernando Aranaz del Rio; Mr. Wood Ross, Chairman of the FIP Commission for Aerophilately and Mr. Nicos Rangos, the Board member of FEPA.

Total 13 FIP Members Countries were presented by a delegate or by proxy.

The Bureau was represented by I.Rodin, Chairman and J.Matejka, Secretary.

Mr. Fernando Aranaz del Rio, FIP Vice-president, welcomed to delegates and guests.

The Conference was conducted by the Secretary of the Section, Mr. Jaromir Matejka (Austria).

After the Conference, Igor Rodin gave a lecture on Astrophilately.

He told about the Korean postage stamps flown in space during the flight of the first Korean astronaut Yi So-yeon.
