The Exhibition at the 6th Congress of the Federation of Cosmonautics of Russia.
On February 25, 2011 the 6th Congress of the Federation of Cosmonautics of Russia was held in Moscow.
In the frames of this event a non-competitive philatelic exhibition was organized by Igor Rodin and Sergey Rodin. The title of the Exhibition devoted to the 50th Anniversary of the First manned space flight was "They were the first”. The delegates and guests of the Congress could see a wide spectrum of philatelic material devoted to the first Soviet manned space flights as well as to K.Tsiolkovski and S.Korolev.
The Congress took place in the Cultural Centre of the Russian State Social University. The great help in the organization of the philatelic exhibition was provided by Russian cosmonaut Vladimir Kovaljonok, President of Federation of Cosmonautics of Russia and the Administration of the University.
