"Voskhod-2”

Date of launch: March 18, 1965.

Launch site: Baykonur Cosmodrome (USSR).

Launch vehicle: the "Voskhod” rocket-carrier.

Launch crew:
Commander – Pavel BELJAEV (USSR)
Co-pilot – Aleksey LEONOV (USSR)

Brief Summary: The first world EVA (Extra Vehicle Activity) performed by Aleksey Leonov on March 18.
Due to a malfunction, the landing capsule landed in the taiga of North Ural. The crew was evacuated from the landing place only in 2 days after landing.

Commander – Pavel BELJAEV (USSR)
Co-pilot – Aleksey LEONOV (USSR)

Date of landing: March 19, 1965.

Place of landing: 180 kilometers to North-West from the city of Perm, USSR.
