"Vostok-4”

Date of launch: August 12, 1962

Launch site: Baykonur Cosmodrome (USSR).

Launch vehicle: the "Vostok” rocket-carrier.

Launch crew: Commander – Pavel POPOVICH (USSR)

Brief Summary: The first world group space flight of two manned spacecraft (together with the "Vostok-3” spacecraft). During returning to Earth the cosmonaut catapulted out from the landing capsule and then descended and landed by parachute. The capsule descended and landed by parachute separately.

Landing crew: Commander - Pavel POPOVICH (USSR)

Date of landing: August 15, 1962.

Place of landing: to the South from the city of Karaganda, Kazakhstan, USSR.
