Date of launch: June 14, 1963

Launch site: Baykonur Cosmodrome (USSR).

Launch vehicle: the "Vostok” rocket-carrier.

Brief Summary: The new world record of space flight duration. During returning to Earth the cosmonaut catapulted out from the landing capsule and then descended and landed by parachute. The capsule descended and landed by parachute separately.

Place of landing: 540 kilometers to North-West from the city of Karaganda, Kazakhstan, USSR.
