On July 06, 2011 at 04:28 UTC the "Chang Zheng-2C” (Long-March II-C) rocket carrier was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China's Gansu Province. The rocket orbited the "Shi-Jian 11-03” satellite.
The satellite, developed by China Spacesat Co. Ltd under China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, will be used to conduct space scientific experiments.
