USA launched an Air Force satellite.
On January 20, 2012 at 00:38 UTC the "Delta-4” rocket-carrier was launched from launch pad SLC-37B, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, USA. The rocket orbited the WGS 4 (Wideband Global SATCOM 4) communication satellite. The satellite will service over the Middle East to route essential communications to U.S. military forces and improve data links to unmanned aerial drones. The launch was performed by United Launch Alliance and the 45th Space Wing of United States Air Force.
