Japan launched unmanned spacecraft to the ISS.
On June 21, 2012 at 02:06 UTC Japan successfully launched the H-2B rocket-carrier from the Tanegashima Space Center, an island base at the southern tip of Japan.
The rocket orbited HTV-3 unmanned supply spacecraft. Japan is calling the spacecraft Kounotori, which means white stork.
The spacecraft is to deliver more than five tons of cargo to the International Space Station.
The HTV-3 is to be docked with the ISS in a week.
