Letter from Taipei-2016 to the Space Station.

This registered letter was sent from the “Taipei-2016” World Philatelic exhibition to Moscow, Russia.

Then the letter was delivered to the International Space Station by the Russian supply spacecraft. To document the delivery, on board the station the letter was marked with all proper board seals including the Russian official “Russian Post. ISS. Russian Segment” round board post mark dated February 24, 2017, the day when the “Progress MS-05” unmanned supply spacecraft docked with the ISS.

India orbited 31 satellites by one rocket.

On June 23, 2017 at 03:59 UTC, the PSLV-XL rocket-carrier was launched from Satish Dhawan (Sriharikota) spaceport, 80 km from Chennai, India. The rocket (PSLV - Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) orbited 31 satellites. The main payload was the Indian “Cartosat-2E” mapping satellite.

Tianzhou-1 undocked from Tiangong-2.

On June 21, 2017 at 01:47 UTC the Chinese “Tianzhou-1” unmanned supply spacecraft was undocked from the “Tiangong-2” space station. China’s first cargo spacecraft “Tianzhou-1” is orbiting independently in space after successfully separating from the “Tiangong-2” space lab. The China Manned Space Engineering Office said the cargo spacecraft will soon begin conducting further experiments. “Tianzhou-1” is also expected to launch a new satellite and start a third-round refueling tests.

Tianzhou-1 redocking test.

On June 19, 2017 at 01:37 UTC the Chinese “Tianzhou-1” unmanned supply spacecraft was undocked from the “Tiangong-2” space station. Then the spacecraft flew around the space lab. At 06:55 UTC the “Tianzhou-1” spacecraft completed its second docking with the “Tiangong-2” space lab.

Chinese satellite in wrong orbit after launcher failure.

On June 18, 2017 at 16:11 UTC (on June 19, 2017 at 00:11 Beijing time) the Chang Zheng-3B/G2 (Long March-3B/G2) rocket-carrier was launched from Xichang Cosmodrome, Sichuan province, southwestern China. The rocket was to orbit the “Zhongxing-9A” (ChinaSat-9A) television broadcasting satellite. The satellite was placed in a lower-than-planned orbit a rocket-carrier. A brief statement from the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp. confirmed an anomaly in the 3rd stage of the “Chang Zheng-3B/G2” rocket left the “Zhongxing-9A” satellite in the wrong orbit.

Russian “Progress MS-06” spacecraft docked to Space Station.

On June 16, 2017 at 11:37 UTC the Russian “Progress MS-06” unmanned supply spacecraft docked to the International Space Station. The spacecraft was docked to the Russian “Zvezda (Star)” module. The spacecraft delivered about 2500 kilograms of cargo for the ISS crew.

China launched X-ray astronomy satellite.

On June 15, 2017, at 03:00 the “Long March –4B” (“Changzheng-4B”) rocket-carrier was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, the northwest of China. The rocket orbited the HXMT (Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) “Huiyan” China’s first X-ray astronomy satellite.
