On November 8, 2017 at 01:42 UTC the “Vega” rocket-carrier was launched from Kourou Cosmodrome in French Guiana. The rocket orbited the “Mohammed VI-A” optical imaging space vehicle. It is a reconnaissance satellite built in secrecy in France for the Moroccan government.

On November 6, 2017 American astronaut Richard Francis Gordon passed away. He was 88. Gordon performed two space flight, serving as pilot on the Gemini 11 mission in 1966 and command module pilot on Apollo 12 in 1969, logging more than 13 days in space.
