On March 5, 2021 American astronauts Kathleen Rubins and Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi performed the spacewalk to complete assembly of two solar array support fixtures, part of a $100 million power system upgrade. The EVA lasted 6 hours and 56 minutes. It was the 4th spacewalk for Kathleen Rubins and the 4th for Soichi Noguchi.

On February 28, 2021 American astronauts Kathleen Rubins and Victor Glover performed the spacewalk for the first in a series of spacewalks to upgrade the lab’s aging solar power system, assembling a support fixture that eventually will hold a new solar blanket. The EVA lasted 7 hours and 04 minutes. It was the 3rd spacewalk for both Kathleen Rubins and for Victor Glover.

Russia launched Arctic weather satellite.
On February 28, 2021 at 06:55 UTC the Russian "Soyuz-2.1b” rocket-carrier equipped with the "Fregat-M” booster (upper stage) was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome. The rocket orbited the «Arktika-M” number 1 satellite. The “Arktika-M” is the first of a new line of satellites designed to provide persistent weather data on Russian Arctic, home to economically lucrative natural resources, energy reserves, and an important region for Russian military operations. The Arktika-M satellites are built by NPO Lavochkin, the same Russian company that builds Fregat upper stages.

On February 28, 2021 at 04:54 UTC the PSLV-DL rocket-carrier was launched from Sriharikota spaceport (the Satish Dhawan Space Center), 80 km from Chennai, India. The rocket (PSLV - Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) orbited the Brazilian “Amazônia-1” satellite to begin a mission monitoring deforestation in the Amazon rainforest, then released 18 small satellites at a lower altitude.

On February 24, 2021, at 02:22 the “Long March –4C” (“Changzheng-4C”) rocket-carrier was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, the northwest of China. The rocket orbited three “Yaogan-31” military satellite. The “Yaogan” name is used for Chinese military satellites. Yaogan satellites carry high-resolution optical, radar, and signals intelligence instruments, collecting information for analysis by Chinese military and intelligence agencies.

“Cygnus” CRS NG-15 spacecraft docked to Space Station.
On February 22, 2021, the American "Cygnus” CRS-15 (NG-15, the S. S. Katherine Johnson) private unmanned supply spacecraft was docked to the International Space Station (ISS). The Cygnus spacecraft was grappled by a robotic arm at 09:38 UTC. The cargo spacecraft was docked to the station’s "Unity” module at 12:16 UTC. The spacecraft delivered about 3700 kilograms of supplies to the Space Station. It was the 15th docking of a "Cygnus” spacecraft with the ISS. This is the 4th flight of Cygnus under the CRS-2 contract.

“Cygnus NG-15” cargo spacecraft launched to Space Station.
On February 20, 2021 at 17:36 UTC the "Cygnus” privately owned U.S. unmanned supply spacecraft was launched from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport (MARS), a commercial space launch facility located at the southern tip of NASA's Wallops Flight Facility on Wallops Island, Virginia, USA. The spacecraft was orbited by the “Antares-230” rocket-carrier. The "Cygnus” NG-15 (the S. S. Katherine Johnson), previously known as CRS OA-15, unmanned supply spacecraft, built by U.S. space firm Orbital Sciences Corp., was orbited on its cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station. CRS means Commercial Resupply Services. The "Cygnus” NG-15 is the 15th successful flight of the Orbital ATK uncrewed resupply spacecraft Cygnus.

NASA rover reached Mars.
On February 18, 2021, the successful landing of the “Perseverance” rover in Jezero Crater was announced at 20:55 UTC. The signal from Mars taking 11 minutes to arrive at Earth. The “Perseverance” is a car-sized Mars rover designed to explore the crater Jezero on Mars as part of NASA's Mars 2020 mission. It was manufactured by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and launched on July 30, 2020. It is the 5th US rover which will work on Mars.

On February 17, 2021 at 06:26 UTC the Russian “Progress MS-16” unmanned supply spacecraft docked to the International Space Station. The spacecraft was docked by using manual docking system operated by Expedition 64 commander, Russian cosmonaut Sergey Ryzhikov to the “Pirs” module of the ISS. The spacecraft delivered about 2500 kilograms of cargo for the ISS crew.
