On May 5, 2019 at 06:00 UTC, the “Electron” rocket-carrier was launched from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1, the commercial spaceport located on the Mahia Peninsula on the eastern coast of New Zealand's North Island. In the frames of STP-27RD mission the rocket orbited three U.S. military-sponsored experimental satellites: Harbinger; SPARC-1 (Space Plug and Play Architecture Research CubeSat-1) and Falcon ODE (Falco Orbital Debris Experiment).
