50 years ago on June 16, 1963 Soviet woman-cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova began her 3-day space flight on board the "Vostok-6” spacecraft. It was the first world space flight performed by a woman. FIP Section for Astrophilately marked this event by organizing together with German philatelists the "Astrophil-2013” international philatelic exhibition in Berlin.
