Belgium post cards flown aboard the International Space Station.
First these 2 post cards were cancelled in the Post Office of Brussels International airport on 15 October 2013. The cards were addressed to Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kotov who was aboard the International Space Station at that time. Being delivered to Russia the cards were handed over to the cosmonaut’s family. Then the cards were put into the Russian “Progress M-21M” unmanned supply spacecraft.
The spacecraft was launched on November 25, 2013. In several days the spacecraft docked with the ISS. The cards were delivered to the addressee. Aboard the station the cards were marked with the “Russian Post. ISS. Russian Segment” round board post mark dated November 30, 2013, the day when Progress M-21M Russian unmanned supply spacecraft docked with the ISS and with the “ISS” octagonal board seal.
