On January 11, 2018 at 23:18 UTC (on January 12 according to Beijing time) the Chang Zheng-3B/YZ-1 (Long March-3B/YZ-1) rocket-carrier was launched from Xichang Cosmodrome, Sichuan province, southwestern China.
