On June 20, 2011 at 16:13 UTC the Long March 3BE rocket-carrier was launched from the Xichang launching base (Cosmodrome) in southwestern China's Sichuan province. The rocket orbited the Chinasat 10 television broadcasting and broadband communications satellite.
The satellite will provide communications, broadcasting, data transmission, digital broadband multimedia system and media streaming services across China and neighboring countries. This launch was the second Chinese space mission of 2011. Attachments: |
