China launched a satellite.

On July 11, 2011 at 15:41 UTC (at 11:41 p.m. Beijing Time), the "Chang Zheng-3C (Long March-3C)” rocket-carrier was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest Sichuan Province, China.
The rocket orbited the "Tianlian I-02" satellite. Developed by the China Academy of Space Technology under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the satellite is the country's second data relay satellite.
