On April 09, 2010 at 13:57 UTC a Russian "Dnepr” rocket-carrier orbited the "CryoSat-2” European Space Agency's satellite.
The satellite will monitor the effects of global warming on polar glaciers. The 140 million euro satellite, CryoSat-1, was built by the space company EADS Astrium for the European Space Agency. Attachments: |
