Fail launch of Indian satellite.
10:23

On August 31, 2017 at 13:30 UTC the PSLV-XL (C39) rocket-carrier was launched from Sriharikota spaceport, 80 km from Chennai, India. The rocket (PSLV - Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) was to orbit the IRNSS-1H (Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System) satellite. The satellite remained stuck to its launcher after climbing into orbit when the rocket’s aerodynamic payload shroud failed to jettison as planned several minutes after liftoff.
