Failure launch of a North Korean rocket.
21:04
On April 12, 2012 at 22:39 UTC (on April 13 at 07:39 local time) North Korea launched the "Unha-3” three-stage rocket-carrier. Unha means galaxy in Korean. The launch was performed from the Sohae Satellite Launching Station, a remote facility northwest of Pyongyang and about 35 miles from the Chinese border city of Dandong. The rocket was to orbit the "Kwangmyongsong-3” Earth observation satellite. Kwangmyongsong means bright star in Korean.
The rocket failed and crashed into the Yellow sea in about a minute after liftoff.
