On August 17, 2019, at 04:11 UTC the “Jielong-1” (“Smart Dragon-1”) rocket-carrier was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, the northwest of China. The rocket orbited the three small satellites. The “Jielong-1” rocket is the fourth new Chinese solid-fueled smallsat launcher to debut in the last 10 months. All have roughly the same carrying capacity to low Earth orbit.
